How Do I Use Money to both Access and Fuel the Lampoon’s 150th Anniversary Weekend, April 24-26, 2026?
What a thoughtful question. The Trustees spent a year trying to figure out the answer and came up with the options below, which could conceivably cover costs. Those same options appear on the right — click on them there to add them to your cart.
Weekend Passes: One low price of $750* (after 10/31 — $950*; after 12/31 $1250*) gets you into every event, each with an open bar. You also get a copy of the gorgeous 150th Anniversary Catalog (worth $100 on the open market), a special edition of the magazine, and other as-yet unknown surprises.
Comper add-on: For an additional $100, see your name printed in the special edition of the magazine. We won’t tell you where.
Freedom Square add-on: For $350, get a somewhat limited-edition LEGO replica of the Castle (assembly required).
Wheelwright add-on: For $450, get a Heritage Castle Photo Book with a brick leftover from the construction of the Castle, way back when.
Santayana add-on: For $500, get a VIP edition of the 150th Anniversary Catalog, including a copy of your initiation poster (if extant), a print of Keats’ handwritten version of Chapman’s HOmer, and a castle photo print signed by Peter Aron, whoever that is. Only 150 copies available so act fast.
Sir/Vixen add-on: For $15,000, $25,000, or $50,000, buy a table close, closer, or closest to the stage at the Saturday night dinner.
Ultravixen/Supersir add-on: For $75,000 (or more), buy naming weekend rights for the Bow Street Tent, the portapotty at the Bow Street Tent, or an undergraduate.
There is a range of tax-deductible payment options available for numbers 6 and 7 — click on the right to find out more. Other questions? Contact TKTK
